I joined Edward Mellor over 20 years ago as a trainee adviser and was delighted to become Head Of Financial Services in 2016.

I spend most of my time ensuring the smooth running of the team, but I do get to see the odd client, which is still a part of the job I enjoy.

Across the team we recognize the importance of delivering the same high level of service and advice to each individual client regardless of their needs or circumstances. This caring approach forms the cornerstone of our business.

Away from the office, I spend the majority of time with my wife and two children although I do find time for the occasional game of golf.

Calum is our most experienced adviser starting with Edward Mellor in 1991.
His role as Group Financial Services Manager involves providing mortgage and protection advice to clients and coaching new and existing advisers.

Outside of work, his hobbies include most sports (mainly watching these days), record collecting and attending concerts.

Sharon Ann has worked in Financial Services for over 20 years working for a number of High Street Banks providing Financial Advice. She joined Edward Mellor in 2010 and is now one of our Senior Mortgage Advisers.

She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends when she's not working.

Terry joined Edward Mellor in January 2014 but has been in Financial Services Industry for almost 30 years, starting his career as a Financial Adviser within an Insurance Company.

He is happily married and enjoys walking, dining out and watching movies in his spare time.

Niall initially joined Edward Mellor as a Sales Negotiator in our estate agency, whilst working there he progressed through our Mortgage Adviser Academy Scheme. Moving onto our Financial Services Outbound team and is now a fully licensed Mortgages and Protection Adviser.

In his spare time Niall enjoys going to the gym and trips away with his family and friends.

Olivia joined Edward Mellor in 2019 initially as part of our Estates team, exploring different areas of the company. After deciding the Financial Services team was the place she wanted to be, she has now progressed through our Mortgage Adviser Academy Scheme and is now a fully licensed Mortgage and Protection Adviser.
In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors, paddle boarding and spending time in the sea.

Zoe joined Edward Mellor in June 2021 looking for a new challenge after 17 years working as a Mortgage and Protection Advisor with a Building Society.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, although this mostly involves standing on the touchline being a football mum to her two boys.

As a Mortgage Adviser, Asim loves helping people take the next step on their property journey. Whether they’re a first-time buyer or remortgaging, he aims to make the process simple, stress-free, and easy to understand.
Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, spending quality time with family and friends, and unwinding with a good movie or TV series.

Amanda has worked in strategic and risk-focused roles for much of her career, gaining extensive experience in risk management and forward planning. In 2025, she qualified as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser and now applies that experience to provide first-time buyers, homemovers and remortgage clients with tailored mortgage and protection solutions designed around their individual needs, ensuring the process feels clear, supported and reassuring from start to finish.
Outside of work, she enjoys family life, BBQs whatever the weather, and long walks with her dog, Elvis.

Paul joined Edward Mellor in September 2015, having worked for ten years in Banking and previously in Financial Services, as a Financial Adviser. He is Edward Mellors pension expert and is referred to as "Pension Paul".

He enjoys most sports but participates in water-skiing, which he tries to do each weekend.

Millie initially joined us as part of her Business & Administration apprenticeship and we were delighted to offer her a full time position when she completed it in April 2018. Since then Millie flourished in her role becoming FS Admin Team Leader in 2021.

In her spare time she enjoys baking and spending time with her friends.

Susan joined the team in October 2021. Prior to this she was self employed for several years following on from spending 15 years as an ICT teacher.
When not working she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys watching athletics, especially middle distance and is also learning how to play golf.

Jenny joined the relationship manager team following working as a mortgage adviser for 6 years. Wanting a new challenge and to utilise her experience in the industry she quickly progressed to the relationship manager team leader.

In her spare time she loves going to music festivals and spending time with friends and family.

Charlotte initially came to Edward Mellor in 2022, starting her career off as part of the estates team.
Wanting to pursue new horizons within the financial services department, she moved across to being a member of the relationship manager team.

She enjoys going on walks at the weekend (when it’s not raining), her favourite hobby is doing arts and crafts and spending time with friends and family.
